Bathroom(s) Remodel

Here's the progress so far on both our bathrooms. The kids bathroom needed to get a shower in there first so we had a complete working bathroom before gutting ours.

Then onto the real mess, ours....it had a leak and by the pics, its confirmed. It went all the way into our laundry room...yikes!(also we found out they tiled right onto the linoleum...sheesh!) So on monday all tile will go and new subfloor here we come! Then tile the whole new shower room.


Kids

Texturizing and paint will come at the end, when he does both bathrooms at once.

Ours

 The door seen here is going away, the shower will be turned onto that wall so it can be bigger(longer).

Skinny little area to left of shower will be shelving..the door out to the kitchen used to be there, but we flipped our shower sideways against the wall and gained a bigger area.

The Wee Faeries

Two of my kids have been making these dolls off and on for the last year or two. A few weeks ago I was asked if I wanted to put some of my own art in a Holiday Craft Show. I was so slammed these last 2 weeks at work, I really didn't have time to contribute anything. A friend at work suggested that my kids build some of their dolls and bring them along if I didn't have the time to bring something myself. So grateful for the suggestion(Thanks Erin!), as this was so much fun for Savannah and Sophia to do. They cranked them out Friday night and early saturday prior to the show. We don't know the exact results yet, but most of them sold and were well received. Thanks to Erin and Chase for watching over the girl's stuff as we had to get a family photo up in Loveland Saturday night.(See next post) This might be a cool little side business for the girls...plans are in the works...stay tuned!
